2 weeks left until my due date! Can't wait to meet Mr. B!!!

Just a little behind!

2014 has been good to us! We moved back to Washington to be closer to family and because we have some news! We are welcoming a baby boy into our family in October!!!  

Its been a pretty easy pregnancy so far! I was 18 weeks pregnant in this picture and SOOO tired all the time. I am now 31 weeks along and feeling it! 

We have decided on the name Brock, which is my grandmothers maiden name. 

He moves around a lot and has started to get the hiccups, which is such a crazy feeling! 

just keep swimming.

There has been a lot of swimming this summer. Glad we purchased a really good underwater camera. Katers and I had a BLAST taking pictures of each other. 

Did I mention we had a mermaid for a day in the pool? For a 4 year old Mermaid she was pretty flipping amazing!

adoption

Well we finally went to an adoption meeting last night. I am sort of excited but again sort of not. I am so ready for a kid and this is the best route for us, so I need to get used to it and just set my mind to the fact that we are adopting and just do it!

The meeting was very helpful. A lot of the stuff I already knew but it was nice to just have it reiterated again and in a different way.

I did learn that we need help finding a birth mom. Its all about networking the way we are doing adoption. We really are going to need everyone's help with this. We have our application and have already started filling it out, we have to get finger printed and then have a home study. Which most likely will take around 2 months to get finished with the social worker we are using. which by the way, she is seriously amazing! I am so excited to work with her and to work with the attorney we chose. Things just kind of came together so nicely.

I am getting more and more okay with this as the days go by and I just need to remind my self of the end result! and that is exactly what I have been looking forward to for the past 3 years of all this infertility and adoption process.

So please keep your ears and eyes open. If you know anyone, a friend of a friends 2nd cousins daughter is pregnant and is considering adoption, please let us know! We are able to adopt out of any state!
